    Founder of the Veronica Lake Foundation and a driving force behind its vision, Chandler leads the organization with a deep commitment to honoring Veronica Lake's memory. His leadership blends storytelling, place-making, and creative entrepreneurship.

  • Colena De Los Reyes

    Executive Director & Vice Chairman
    Chandler’s daughter, Colena brings heartfelt energy and dedication to her role. Based in Hawaii, she’s eager to collaborate on this meaningful project with her father and continue the family’s mission of celebrating Veronica’s life and legacy.

  • Pattie Markley

    Secretary
    Pattie offers a rich background in both theater and corporate consumer products. With a lifelong love for the Adirondacks, she contributes creative insight, organizational experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for the Foundation’s future.

  • Sarah Ramirez

    Treasurer
    Sarah combines nonprofit experience—through her work with the World Awareness Children’s Museum—with her language skills and day-to-day involvement at The Elms. Her wide-ranging talents make her an essential steward of the Foundation’s operations.

  • Sharon Reynolds

    Sharon brings decades of experience in promotions and hospitality, including service on the board of the Lake George Dinner Theatre and her current role at the Holiday Inn. She offers a deep understanding of regional venues and event promotion.

  • Ringo Hartenberg

    A student of Chandler’s, Ringo adds fresh perspective and hands-on experience from his work at Fort William Henry Inn. He is especially passionate about events and promotional strategy for the Foundation.

  • Katie Hawkins

    Katie specializes in wedding planning, marketing and social media, currently collaborating with Chandler to promote Mountain Airstrip Farm as a wedding and event venue. She is passionate about the creative, artistic, & visual elements of Veronica Lake & Mountain Airstrip Farm.

  • Karen Hurwitz

    An accomplished artist, sculptor, and retired nurse, Karen brings creativity and warmth to the board. Alongside her husband Chuck, she is a longtime supporter of The Elms and a strong advocate for preserving Veronica’s story.

  • Chuck Hurwitz

    Chuck is a retired physician known for his hands-on attitude and steadfast support of the Foundation’s goals. His “whatever it takes” mindset embodies the board’s collaborative spirit.
