Discover the Foundation

In 2021, Chandler Atkins, PhD, purchased Mountain Airstrip Farm. While exploring the property, he discovered that Veronica Lake had once lived there. This surprising connection sparked his curiosity, leading him to research her life and career in depth. As he learned more about her artistry, resilience, and legacy, his admiration for Veronica grew—and it became the inspiration for establishing the Veronica Lake Foundation in January 2025.

The Foundation honors Veronica Lake’s life and legacy by preserving her story, celebrating her artistry, and supporting initiatives that reflect her values and passions. Through educational resources, historical insights, and engagement with fans and scholars, the Foundation seeks to inspire creativity, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for classic cinema.
